Amamiya Shuuhei was forced to move from Tokyo to the countryside due to his grandmother's illness. His father, a renowned pianist, had taught him to play the piano since he was very young. At school, he often became the target of teasing and was challenged to play a piano hidden in the forest. This cursed piano was said to produce no sound when played. After school, Ichinose Kai, a classmate, led Shuuhei into the forest. Despite Shuuhei's efforts, he couldn't produce any sound, while Kai played beautifully. This marked the beginning of a friendship between two individuals with different perspectives on music.
